For over 20 years, Dr. Loo and Dr. Yen have been serving patients of all ages in Vancouver, Kerrisdale, and the surrounding areas. From clear aligners and braces to cleft and craniofacial orthodontics, our orthodontic team is here to help.

Everyone deserves a straight and healthy smile, no matter their age. We take a two-phase approach to treatment for children and teens, intervening early to reduce the need for extensive care later. We also provide care for newborn patients with craniofacial conditions who require more complex treatment.

For adults, we aim to provide minimally invasive orthodontic treatment options that fit seamlessly into your lifestyle, all while helping you achieve a straight, lasting smile.

We proudly offer early morning and Saturday appointments, making it easier for busy families and working professionals to fit care into their schedules. Same-day appointments and consultations are also available.

Dr. Angelina Y.C. Loo, DMD, MSc., FRCDC

Dr. Loo is an active orthodontist staff member on the BC Children’s Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial Team, an Associate Clinical Professor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry, and the course coordinator for the UBC graduate orthodontic program in cleft and craniofacial care. She lectures internationally on facial clefting and feels privileged to participate in surgical cleft missions overseas.

Dr. Edwin Yen, DMD, MSc., FRCDC

Dr. Edwin Yen is an internationally recognized orthodontic educator, researcher, and speaker. He played a leading role in developing a hybrid problem-based learning curriculum at UBC Dentistry and served as Chair of the Committee of Deans for dental faculties across Canada. His research focuses on connective tissue response to orthodontic forces, and he continues to lecture internationally on the biology of orthodontics.

The staff there are all so friendly. I’m not the best at keeping up with my Invisalign trays but they are all very encouraging and they give me gentle reminders that I NEED to wear them more often. Not related to teeth, but I have a five month old baby and the staff helped her make little special memorabilia of her hands and feet.
